Our aim is to provide a pleasant stay for all of our hotel guests, employees and visitors of our hotel. To achieve this, we believe it is important to establish clear house rules. These house rules apply to everyone who is on the property of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat. We ask you to follow the instructions from the staff of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat regarding the house rules. If you do not agree with the house rules or have a complaint, you can contact the managers of the hotel at any time.

Check-in is possible from 2:00 PM till 0:00 AM. In some cases it is possible to check-in after 0:00 AM. In that case please let us know beforehand.
As the cleanliness of our hotel rooms is implemented daily, starting from 11:00 AM, it would be better you to let us know your arrival time so that your room can be thoroughly cleaned and ready on your arrival time without any delay.
If you arrive earlier, be happy to use our pool or have a lunch at our restaurant.
At the check-in you are obligated to show a valid identity card in case the front desk asks this. We do not make a photo copy, only in unique circumstances and only with your permission.
Check-out is till 12:00 PM. If this is too early for you, ask the front desk if it is possible to stay in your room longer. This is only possible if there is no new arrival that day. Paying the half daily rate - you can stay in your room till 18:00 PM. We call this a late check-out. This is only possible after a confirmation from the front desk.
Late check-out is also possible to be FREE of charge if there are still empty rooms despite the new arrivals. This is only possible after a confirmation from the front desk.
As the cleanliness of our hotel rooms is implemented daily, starting from 11:00 AM, it would be preferable check-out time to be till 11:00 AM so that the rooms can be thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next guests without any delay.
What happens if I do not check-out on time?
It is possible that you lose track of time or that you are still sleeping at 12.00 PM. No problem, we gladly remember you through knocking on your door or by calling. You will not be charged with extra costs for this late check-out, when you immediately answer our request to check-out.
If you stay in your room after our request, then we charge this as a late check-out. The costs for this are the half daily rate- per room. It is more annoying if you stay in your room and the room needs to be clean at 2.00 PM for the next guests. We would like to prevent this, so respect that check-out time is till 12.00 PM the latest.
All prices shown online are per room per night (unless otherwise stated) and are inclusive of breakfast in the hotels’ restaurant. Prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax. The government tax, which is not included in room rates, is €3.00 per room per night. Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation.
The prices shown online are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and, until you have received your confirmation number.
For the avoidance of doubt, prices do not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay (including, for example, in respect of your use of the hotel's bar and mini-bar facilities and the costs of external telephone calls from your room). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with us that you irrevocably authorize us to debit your credit or debit card for the amount of any shortfall.
How long can I cancel my booking free of charge?
The cancellation policy depends on your booking. For individuals’ bookings with a flexible (standard) rate, the cancellation policy is the following:
- If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged,
- If cancelled or modified between 13 and 7 days before date of arrival 50% of all nights will be charged,
- If cancelled or modified between 6 and 3 days before date of arrival 75% of all nights will be charged and
- If cancelled or modified 2 days before date of arrival or/and in case of no-show the total price of the reservation will be charged.
However, when you have a booking with a non-refundable rate it is not possible to cancel the booking free of charge.
Where a cancellation is not made in accordance with our cancellation terms, we reserve the right to charge you according to our cancelation terms the fees that applies. Whilst every effort is made to fulfill any particular requests which you may have in relation to your stay with us, we cannot unfortunately guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests which you may make and our failure in this regard will not constitute a breach of contract.
Payment conditions are different per booking. In general the room rate + tourist tax needs to be paid on departure. However, you need to guarantee your booking with a valid credit card. Exceptions on this rule are: the non-refundable rate bookings, these bookings need to be paid immediately by making the reservation.
Payment is also taken in the event of cancellation otherwise than in accordance with our cancellation terms. See 'Cancellations and Amendments' above for details on cancellations.
Which payment methods are available?
Payment is possible by bank transfer, credit card or cash. We accept all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express. When pre-arranged, payment by invoice is possible for business guests.
Are children welcome in the hotel?
Yes sure, children of every age are welcome at Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat! Upon request it is possible to add an extra baby crib, based on availability. A baby crib is possible in every room type and is free of charge for children under 2 years old.
Is your child too big for a baby bed? An extra bed is also possible upon request. The extra costs for this bed are free of charge for children under 5 years old or 20% of the daily room rate for children over 6 years old.
The maximum number of extra beds/children's cots permitted in every room type is one.
How many people are allowed in one room?
All rooms are standard for two people, except the triple/handicap room which is standard for 3 people and deluxe 2-bedroom apartment which is standard for four people.
Upon request a baby crib or an extra bed is possible in every room, this is based on availability.
It is not allowed to stay in the room with more people, than you have booked for.
Are there facilities for guests with impaired mobility?
At Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat we endeavor to offer the same high quality facilities to our less able bodied guests. The triple/handicap room is designed to fulfill all the necessary requirements for people with impaired mobility.
Where possible, special facilities include wheelchair adapted bathrooms, ramps and lifts in public areas. Guides dogs are welcome in our hotel as well. Please advise us during your booking if you have any special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served from 07:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the specially designed area of our restaurant, while starting from the first summer days you can enjoy it on the patio by the pool.
Upon request, breakfast can be served in your room or you can ask for an early morning breakfast service at an extra charge. All the Greek dishes we offer carry the official certification Greek Breakfast by the Hotel Chamber of Greece.
Is it possible to use leisure facilities?
Our hotel has leisure facilities on or off site (which are free for guests). Please check the availability and range of facilities when placing your booking. A charge will be made for the use of certain facilities such as beauty treatments or biking, etc. Your use of such facilities is subject to any particular terms and conditions applying at the hotel. Age restrictions may apply to certain facilities.
Yes, a complimentary outdoor parking lot is available.
Is a fast charger for electric and hybrid cars available?
There is a fast charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles in the hotel parking lot.
Pets are allowed with an extra charge of 20% per night.
Dogs until 18kg are allowed in the hotel. Bigger dogs are not allowed in the hotel.
Pets are allowed in the hotel with caution and with respect to other guests’ wishes or allergies. To accept a pet we have to be notified at the time of the booking in order to make all necessary arrangements.
Pets are not allowed in the restaurant except if they are guide dogs.
Pets are not allowed to stay or be left in the hotel or in the room without the supervision of their owner.
What can I do about noise disturbance?
To respect the guests that seek peace and quiet, we find it important that there is no noise disturbance. Keep in mind that, especially between 03.00 PM and 05.00 PM as well as between 11.00 PM and 08.00 AM, we ask you to think about your neighbours and other guests in the hotel. These are the so-called “silence hours”. Do you experience noise disturbance from you neighbours or other guests? Call the front desk (number 10) and report it immediately.
We would like to solve this as soon as possible. Do not wait till the next morning; we will not be able to do anything about it. Do not arrange anything yourself, we prefer to do this for you.
What happens to lost and found items?
Did you find an object? Please hand this in at the front desk. The objects will be saved in a special locked “found objects” box for three months. When you realize you have lost something after these three months we are not to blame that we do not have it anymore. Food and beverages that are in the room after check-out will be thrown away.
Where can I go with complaints?
We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. However when you do not experience this, we would like to hear that directly so we can solve this for you in a positive way. Do you have complaints about your room, malfunction, an employee or other guests or things that have something to do with your stay? Please report this to the management or front desk so that we can attempt to resolve it immediately.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to the General Manager, Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat, Pyrgiotika, 21100 Nafplio, Greece.
What to do in the event of an emergency?
The staff of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat takes care of your safety. In the event of an emergency the emergency plan will be in operation. We friendly but urgently request you to follow the instructions of our staff.
Camera surveillance is placed at several spots in the hotel and restaurant, all cameras are allowed to record for your safety. In the event of an emergency or an incident we can use these recordings to show to the authorities.
In case of fire stay calm. Report the fire at the front desk and/or hit the nearest fire alarm. Immediately leave the building when you hear the general fire alarm. The meeting point is in front of the hotel at the parking lot.
Do not use the elevators in case of fire. Follow up on the instructions of the Emergency Response staff of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat.
What if something is stolen or damaged?
As much as we would like, we cannot guarantee that your belongings will be safe in and around Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat. Our advice is therefore not to leave your property unattended in your car or on the grounds of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat. Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat is not liable for loss, damage or theft of your property. Parking of vehicles including bicycles, both in the parking lot and in the bicycle shed of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat, is at your own risk.
In the event of loss, damage or theft, we advise you to report to your insurance company and / or to report it to the police. We are happy to help you if necessary.
The management, the owner of this location and / or persons working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and / or material or non-material damage that visitors to the location might experience.
We also think it is important that you handle the property of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat and third parties with care during your stay. It is not permitted to take property from the hotel outside the building. You can be held liable for the repair and / or renewal costs of deliberate damage to property of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat.
I do not feel safe, what do I do?
At Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat we treat each other with respect. For us this is needless to say. It is not allowed to make insults, use violence or threaten with violence, make racist comments or sexual harassment in any way to our guests or staff. This will not be accepted, the management will take action. In case you experience an unsafe feeling, report this immediately.
Are there (extra) cleaning costs applicable?
Cleaning costs are included in the room rate, as long as you keep the room in a tidy condition. If this is not the case and our housekeeping staff is not able to clean the room in the usual time, we charge extra cleaning costs of €50.00.
Yes, laundry service cost €15.00 per wash until 5kg.
Am I allowed to use drugs during my stay?
We cannot judge your use of drugs outside the hotel property. However, we have a policy that using drugs is not allowed in and around the hotel. It is not allowed to use (soft) drugs (included nitrous oxide) or to deal in and around the hotel. Our experience is that this causes disturbance for the other guests. We do not want this. If we find out you ignore this rule you will receive a warning from the management or an employee of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat. If the use of drugs will not stop after this warning, we are forced to take action.
Am I allowed to smoke in my room?
No, smoking is not allowed in your room. You may smoke outside or on the balconies. Smoking is prohibited in the entire hotel and restaurant. In outdoor public areas please take maximum account of your fellow guests, especially children.
When you do smoke in your room, we are forced to charge you €200.00 for the cleaning costs. If the fire alarm goes off, because of the smoking in the room, we will charge you €300.00 extra for the travel costs of the fire department.
What if I ignore the house rules?
Our aim is a pleasant stay for all the guests, staff and visitors of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat. Take each other in account!
In case the house rules will be ignored, the management or an employee of Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat will give a warning to the person that is responsible. If the behaviour will not change, the management will urgently request you to leave the room / hotel. In that case, there will be no refund. When, because of the disturbance, Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat needs to give compensation to the other guests, the hotel can charge these costs by the person responsible for it.
Miscellaneous
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time.
Subject to the paragraph immediately below, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage in circumstances where:
- there is no breach of a legal duty owed to you by us or by our employees or agents;
- such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach;
- any increase in loss or damage resulting from breach by you of any term of our contract;
- any loss is in excess of three times the fee payable by you in respect of your stay.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Greek law and the Greek courts shall have jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with them.
