Food tour in Nafplio
Discover the true taste of Nafplio with a food tour that will take you on a culinary adventure through the charming streets of the Old City. Our first stop will be at a traditional grocery store, where we will taste locally made cheeses and sausages, and learn about their unique manufacturing process from the passionate store owner.
We then head to Syntagma Square, the heart of the city, where we will visit one of the many coffee shops in the area to try traditional Greek coffee and learn about the history of the square and the surrounding buildings.
Continuing our journey, we will stroll through the charming neighborhood of "Yialos," where we will visit a local cellar-wine shop and sample different varieties of wine, ouzo, and tsipouro while learning about the art of wine-making from the owner.
Our culinary excursion will end on a sweet note, as we visit an ice cream shop to try various refreshing Greek ice cream flavors. With ice cream in hand, we will head to the old port of Nafplio to admire the Venetian fortress of Bourtzi and learn about its historical significance throughout the centuries.
